Welcome Sir Douglas Bader Intermediate!

Project Champion Vice Principal
Danny Gautusa signing Bader up for the
CIH project.

It is my pleasure to welcome Sir Douglas Bader Intermediate to the project cluster this term.

There were a few touch and go moments with planning but we FINALLY had a Whanau Evening early April.  The sessions will start in May with a graduation in June.  EXCITING!

Thanks to Danny Gautusa, champ on the spot and to Principal  Peter Weir for seizing the opportunity.

The trainer for the project is Foloki Faiva - welcome to his first stint with Computers In Homes as well!

Watch this space for news from our students!

What a cool surprise to see someone from the hometown and leading her family in training with Computers In Homes. We all start at scratch and it takes time to find your way around the programmes let alone the internet! You are going to do awesomely so don't worry! Little bit at a time!

      Cheers

    1. Hey Mr. Flaiva

I KNEW you would enjoy this - you're going to miss them when they graduate but the fruit is already developing - I can see students that do not want to go home - definitely the sign of a students having a good time.

      Well done!

  6. Hi Danni

This programme is fantastic just learning all the basics of how to control a computer at home, eventhough we have not acuatly finish the course and have done all that we are meant to learn but have found this opportunity really important and exciting for not only the parents but for the family as well. I and the kids just cant wait to finish this course and get graduated, get the computer set up at home and we are on to this great programme at home... set time limits for the kids and we are on to it. Thnks again for this wonderful gift. Great thnks to Cara and our Traner Locz

One of the awesome things about Computers In Homes classes is the network of new friends we gather. We already have a common point in our lives with the people we know and the families that connect us. I am stoked that you will be one of our recipients - thank you for sharing your knowledge with others in class. We all have something to share in this place - even those biscuits for vegetarians or our SECRET recipes for Pani Popos.

Graduation is just around the corner!
